The Pinwheel POWER Garden Initiative

The Pinwheel POWER Garden is a community-wide initiative centered on child abuse prevention and awareness. POWER stands for Providing Opportunities for Wellness, Education, and Resources. Throughout the month of April, we will be planting Pinwheel POWER Gardens across the city—at homes, schools, churches, businesses, parks, agencies, and community organizations—to serve as visible reminders that every child deserves a safe, supported, and thriving future.

Pinwheels are $5, and all proceeds support activities and services designed to prevent child abuse and neglect before they occur. Shining in the sun, the pinwheel reflects childhood innocence and the bright future all children deserve.
